We are in a war zone. The year must be 1940: World War 2. Soldiers are scattered in the snow: freezing, bleeding and dead. Suddenly we are cut out: we are on a Norwegian film set in 2016. Quiet on set is a metafictional short film that deals with a romantic encounter at the bottom of the world film ladder.
Εμπόλεμη ζώνη. Το έτος είναι μάλλον το 1940: Δεύτερος Παγκόσμιος Πόλεμος. Στρατιώτες διασκορπισμένοι στο χιόνι, παγώνουν, ματώνουν, πεθαίνουν. Ξαφνικά το σκηνικό αλλάζει: βρισκόμαστε στα γυρίσματα μιας ταινίας στη Νορβηγία. Το Quiet on set είναι μια μεταμυθοπλασιακή ταινία μικρού μήκους για μια ρομαντική συνάντηση στο πρώτο σκαλοπάτι του παγκόσμιου κινηματογράφου.

Saman starts to worry when he sees the new recruit, a boy named Bijane, who has been chosen to replace him. Even if he is jealous of this boy, who could steal the feelings and protection of his master Farroukhzad, he has to teach him the art of the Batcha dancing.
Ο Saman αρχίζει να ανησυχεί μόλις βλέπει τον νεαρό Bijane, ο οποίος μόλις προσλήφθηκε για να τον αντικαταστήσει. Παρά τη ζήλια που αισθάνεται για τον νεαρό, που πιθανό να κλέψει τη συμπάθεια και την προστασία του αφεντικού τους, Farroukhzad, πρέπει να του διδάξει την τέχνη του χορού Batcha.

Στο Black Mountain η Μαριάννα Χριστοφίδου ακολουθεί έναν ψαρά στην Αδριατική θάλασσα κατά τη διάρκεια της εργασίας του. Είναι ένας από τους τελευταίους στην περιοχή που χρησιμοποιούν μια απαρχαιωμένη μέθοδο ψαρέματος, η οποία χαρακτηρίζεται από σκληρή εργασία και ελάχιστη έως καμία αποδοτικότητα. Ξανά και ξανά αναγκάζεται να ξεκινήσει από την αρχή, τα δίχτυα του γεμίζουν διαρκώς με φύκια και σπάνε από το βάρος. Η ψαριά του είναι τόσο πενιχρή που ρίχνει τα λιγοστά ψάρια πίσω στη θάλασσα. Κι όμως δεν απελπίζεται: είμαστε αντιμέτωποι με τη δύναμη της θέλησης και της επιμονής, με μία άλλη ικανότητα αντίληψης του χρόνου.
In Black Mountain Marianna Christofides follows a fisherman on the Adriatic coast during his work. He is one of the last in the region employing an outmoded fishing method that is characterised by hard labour and little to no return. He repeatedly has to start anew, while his nets, constantly filling up with seaweed, tear apart. His catch is so sparse that he throws the few fish back into the sea. Yet he does not give up: we are confronted with the power of the will and persistence, with another perception of time.

Gary and Jenny share the same cramped “office space” as all beat cops: the front seat of a patrol car. Their evolving relationship is an emotional rollercoaster ride that stands in often-comedic contrast to the procession of thugs and criminals filling the back seat.
Ο Gary και η Jenny στριμώχνονται στο ίδιο «γραφείο» όπως όλοι οι αστυνομικοί: το μπροστινό κάθισμα ενός περιπολικού. Η μεταξύ τους σχέση έχει τόσα σκαμπανεβάσματα όσα ένα τρενάκι του λούνα παρκ, και έχει φόντο τη συχνά χιουμοριστική αντίθεση που δημιουργούν οι εγκληματίες στο πίσω κάθισμα.

A high school cleaning lady falls in love with one of the students at school. Her love is impossible from the beginning, but she still decides to show her feelings. The moment they meet, she changes her mind and gets cold feet. But life does not leave a way out: she will have to face the difficult human boundaries.
Μία καθαρίστρια γυμνασίου ερωτεύεται έναν από τους μαθητές του σχολείου. Αν και ο έρωτάς της φαίνεται ανέφικτος εξ αρχής, η ίδια αποφασίζει να εκδηλώσει τα συναισθήματά της. Τη στιγμή όμως που συναντώνται, ξαφνικά διστάζει και αλλάζει γνώμη. Μα η ζωή δεν αφήνει περιθώρια: θα αναγκαστεί να έρθει αντιμέτωπη με τα περίπλοκα ανθρώπινα όρια.
