O Βίρεν είναι ένα 12άχρονο αγόρι που καλείται να παραστεί στο γραφείο του διευθυντή εξαιτίας μίας πολύ θλιβερής έκθεσης που έγραψε στο μάθημα λογοτεχνίας. Παρά τις αργές γραφειοκρατικές διαδικασίες και την έλλειψη ενδιαφέροντος από τους δασκάλους του, ο Βίρεν διαβάζει την ιστορία του. Το κοινό του θα κρίνει ποιο είναι το θλιβερό της υπόθεσης.
Vihren is a 12-year-old boy, who is called in the director's office, because he wrote a very sad story in his literature class. Despite the slow bureaucracy and the honest lack of interest from the teachers, Vihren reads his story. The audience witnesses what is sad about it.

Ένας παλαιοπώλης μουσικών οργάνων παραλαμβάνει έναν μαγικό δίσκο βινυλίου από έναν ταξιδιώτη: «Διαβάζει το μυαλό σου και παίζει τις χαμένες αναμνήσεις σου». Με τον δίσκο να του γίνεται εμμονή, ο παλαιοπώλης τον ακούει ξανά και ξανά μέχρι που αρχίζουν να αναδύονται οι χαμένες αναμνήσεις της παιδικής του ηλικίας.
An antique music instrument dealer receives a magical vinyl record from a traveller: “It reads your mind and plays your lost memories”. Obsessed by this endless record, the antique dealer listens to it again and again, and the forgotten memories of his childhood re-emerge.

In a nursing home on the outskirts of Stockholm, a special relationship develops between Monica, a compassionate care worker, and Ella, a 99-year-old resident who doesn’t have any close family. A story about trying to reconcile with life coming to an end, narrated with humour, warmth and flying colours. The film challenges our stereotypical image of what elderly care can be.

An architect friend, his cousin and I visit Famagusta, the city of Cyprus which has remained fenced and empty since the Turkish invasion in 1974. The three of us were born there. The two of them also spent their childhood there.
