Σε ένα μικρό χωριό της Πολωνίας μαίνεται ένα μεγάλο κυνήγι αγριογούρουνων λόγω της εξάπλωσης της Αφρικανικής Γρίπης των Χοίρων, επικίνδυνης για τη χοιροτροφία. Η Kalina ζει σε ένα ξύλινο αγροτόσπιτο μαζί με τις κότες και τον αλυσοδεμένο σκύλο της, ο οποίος φαίνεται να είναι πολύ ανήσυχος. Μια μέρα ο σκύλος εξαφανίζεται. Στην προσπάθειά της να τον βρει, η Kalina θα μάθει τι σημαίνει ελευθερία.
A small Polish village. There is an ongoing mass wild boars hunt because of the spread of the African Swine Fever (ASF) virus, which is dangerous for pig farming. Kalina lives in a wooden cottage in the company of hens and a whining dog, which she keeps chained in the yard. One day the dog disappears. While searching for him, Kalina learns about liberty.

Μέσα και γύρω από τα αρχαία ερείπια της Φουστάτ στο Παλιό Κάιρο, οι εντάσεις σιγοβράζουν ανάμεσα στους διορισμένους από την κυβέρνηση φύλακες και τους ενοίκους ενός προσωρινού καταυλισμού, του Αλ Ιζμπά. Οι φύλακες διώκουν τους λεηλάτες, ενώ οι ντόπιοι παρενοχλούν τους φύλακες, κάνοντας εσκεμμένα παράκαμψη μέσα από τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο και σταματώντας πού και πού στο σημείο για τσιγάρο. Σύμφωνα με τους φύλακες, η πιο απλή λύση θα ήταν να κλείσει ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος μέχρι νεωτέρας.
In and around the historical ruins of Fustat in Old Cairo, tensions simmer between the site’s government-appointed guards and residents of a nearby informal settlement, al-Izba. The guards chase away looters, while locals infuriate them by taking shortcuts through the site, occasionally stopping for a smoke. For the guards, it would have been easier to keep the site closed until further notice.

Άδεια υπερπολυτελή καταστήματα και υπερτιμημένα ακατοίκητα διαμερίσματα έχουν μετατρέψει την ανοικοδομημένη πόλη σε μνημείο ματαιοδοξίας, εμπορευματοποιημένης κληρονομιάς και κοινωνικής ψευδαίσθησης.
People hold the memory of their cities and vice versa. After-war modern Beirut and its people have lost their anchors towards a memoryless relationship. Vacant luxury stores and overpriced unoccupied apartments have made the rebuilt city a costly monument of vanity, commodified heritage and social delusion.
