OPEN CALL: Actors × Directors “Speed Dating”

Directors, meet actors. Actors, meet directors.

ISFFC in collaboration with the Directors Guild of Cyprus, Actors Union Cyprus and Theater Artists of Pancyprian Labour Federation invites actors and film directors to take part in a series of relaxed, short one-to-one meetings. It is a chance to put faces to names, discover new people and make connections beyond the usual casting process.

The idea is simple: actors rotate through a series of quick one-to-one meetings with filmmakers, meeting someone new every few minutes.

There is no pressure to pitch, audition or arrive with a project ready to cast. The aim is simply to expand your creative circle and make it a little easier for actors and filmmakers to find each other when the right project comes along.

Who can apply?

Actors interested in connecting with film directors and making professional connections for current or future film and audiovisual projects.

Film directors interested in meeting actors they may want to work with now or further down the line.

Applicants will be asked to share a short bio and a few basic details about their professional background. The open call is addressed to professional actors and film directors of all genders, backgrounds and levels of experience.
