As a screenwriter and film director from Beirut, this lab, one of the few of its kind in the region, was an essential milestone in the development of my short film, Sama Yasmine. The DNA of the lab is different since it existed outside the usual system of bourgeois cinema. An outside the box gathering on a mediterranean shore jamming around rooted stories and connecting through emotions.
