RESET multifunctional social space

An intensive, five-day short film development writing workshop for eight directors and screenwriters from Cyprus and the neighbouring Mediterranean countries.

As part of the Talents Generator Factory (TGF) initiative and led by two experienced tutors, the programme guides participants in the development of a script for a short film. Following the workshop, one participant will be chosen to further develop their film until a complete draft is achieved. TGF also provides, for all participants, opportunities to connect with industry professionals and promote their developing film.

The open call for applications, published last July, was addressed to directors and screenwriters residing in Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Palestine, Turkey, Syria, and Jordan, who are in the early stages of developing a short film. The selection committee of the Talents Generator Factory chose the following 8 proposals to participate in this year’s What’s the Story? Cyprus 2025:
