The “Shoot’n’Run 2025” project (SnR2025) challenges Cyprus based students who love film to organize in crews and create short films in three days. The project kicks off the day after the opening ceremony of the 15th International Short Film Festival of Cyprus (ISFFC) at Rialto Theatre. It is powered by the School of Fine & Applied Arts, Cyprus University of Technology, and the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus.
On Sunday, 12th, at 11:00 (TBC) SnR2025 teams' representatives are given a subject, theme or idea to work with. On the same day at 12:00 (TBC), a round table will be held where instructors from the Faculty of Fine & Applied Arts will meet the participants to discuss ideas and production logistics.
Teams will then have until Tuesday, October 14th, 20:00 to write, shoot, edit, and submit an original film of maximum duration 3 minutes (including titles and credits).
The submitted films will be evaluated on their artistic and technical merit, as well as on how they interpret the given subject, theme, or idea. The jury will consist of School of Fine & Applied Arts instructors and experts in the field of cinema (to be announced shortly before the competition).
The films will be screened on Wednesday, October 15th (TBC) at Rialto Theatre. The winning film will be announced and screened again at the closing ceremony of ISFFC on Friday, October 17th.
Applicants should fill in the google form, for planning purposes, listing the members of the production team.
